I use an android phone as my only means of accessing this site.
At first I had alot of problems uploading photos.
Here are some things I find work.
Shoot photos with your camera, each photo is saved in my gallery with a number. New number for each photo taken.
Crop the photos in the phone gallery will make the size of the file usable in this site. After they are cropped the size works to upload.
I can only upload a photo in reply to topic by pressing upload image, choose file, pick the cropped image from my phone gallery, press upload file to post.
If I start a new topic I can not upload a photo until I make an opening post and then reply to topic to upload photos.
Going through the image optimization tool is problematic with my phone.

Bm0ney, Thank you for taking the time to try to help me with this! Its so frustrating  I also use my phone as a means for Internet from home. I don't know why my email was off... I switched it open.. What you explained also works from my iPhone.. The optimizer even works for me.... Usually... But it's easier to do it on the phone anyways. My problem is that I can only upload one photo a day.. Even to multiple posts... If I upload one photo in one post, then try in another it will upload the new image but also change the image in the other post too..? It's really annoying, lol. My photos do get saved under different number's as yours do... But still can only do one a day.. Unlike on a computer I cannot rename my photos? I wonder if its photos that were either taken or saved on the same day? |

If I delete a photo from my gallery and take another it has the same name. If I take 3 photos resize them I can upload all three to the same reply or wherever no problems.

If your photos have the same tile name they will replace other photos the same day. Uploading straight from your camera gallery should be different file names.

You gotta do it from the gallery I use my phone all the time galaxy S2 and the magnifying app which is free takes great close ups and the macro setting on the normal camera works good to.

If you go reply to post, upload image and the choose image button won't do anything
Try clicking on the text field to place the flashing cursor there first and then pressing upload image and choose image should work.

Ya, for some reason it doesn't work with my iPhone.. (Or the iPad apparently?) but ya... Even if I resize in either my phone or on the site I can still only upload one per day or it will replace any prior that day... Even if I try to post the obverse and reverse of a coin I can upload the obverse fine... And the reverse loads but then both pics are of the reverse...
I cannot change the file names, they all have a different # in my gallery but for some reason when I upload them they all have the same name... I guess..
O well...
