Hello,

I recently bought a blank Dansco album and pages for large cents. While the Coronets (I don't have anything earlier yet) fit and show nicely, the Braided Hairs are loose, which is obviously caused by diameter differences.

I like the look of the coins in the Dansco, but, at least at this time, I don't collect sequentially by date. For that reason the standard large cents album won't work. I assume the hole diameters are correctly sized in the standard album.

Anyway, does anyone have any recommendations on albums for the Braided Hairs?

Thanks
Rest in Peace

The generic LC album has holes sized for the middle dates, so the late dates will have extra room. The specific album has them sized for each series. Even the 1793 has it's own size.

In my albums, even the middle dates spin around. I just live with it. Haven't tried the fillers mentioned in the other thread.

Also, Danso sells individual pages, but I don't see them for large cents. They do sell them by millimeter size in 1 mm increments. What you could also do is buy a date specific album and flip the pages over.
