annemarielewis New Member United Kingdom 1 Posts	Posted 12/17/2012 3:16 pm Hi I have been looking at some coins that I have had for many years given to me I think by my father or grandfather when I was a child thinking I might be interested in coin collecting!! I am 60 now! Is it too late I ask myself? I have found this one and I can't seem to find anything about it? Can anyone help? Report this Post to the Staff

The design was used on the gold aureus linked to by rooneydog, but this coin clearly isn't gold. And as far as I can tell, this design wasn't used on the denarius. It also seems to have been painted or plated; the coating is worn away at the high points on the reverse.
