I found this the other day in my change. I'm not sure if it's die marks from polishing or numerous tiny die scratches. The lines on the LMC are raised and these are not scratches on the surface. Nice look. Help identify please. Thanks guys.

I'm pretty sure these are pretty common. Some one had a heavy hand while polishing the die. Wait till you find a full red one I have found a couple and kept them. I agree they have a cool look to them.

I was reading about the 'Heavy Die Scratches' on Mike Diamonds site and he claims these come from removing old die clashes. That's why they run in all different directions. Maybe they use OOOO steel wool.

Jayman931,

Aren't you glad this wasn't another delaminated lamination?
