The edges are rounded on both sides & is partially missing near the date...The wave of depth near the front & back of his head is noticable too.
I also see the figure of Lincoln sitting down is not defined in anyway...

Between the E & C on ONE CENT is a blob of raised metal.

You are seeing the effect of die wear on the obverse. As for the reverse, the early '80's have a lot of problems with ill defined statues.
