Cant tell from those pics. Can you get a close up of the reverse of the coin where the possible Cud is? There should be a dip where metal is missing. It should be around the rim near the date

just by looking at the reverse only it looks like a Cud...but I thought there should be a indentation on the obverse side opposite of the " Cud". So I cant make a positive ID with my limited knowledge.

Here is a pic I found that I belongs to Coop. Its a little bigger than yours but notice the part opposite of the Cud. If I had to guess one way or the other I would say it looks like a Cud.

I am no pro but I think it is a Cud but mostly a rim Cud,that's why there isn't a depression by the date but it looks like the rim is a little thinner by the date.

nice find. I think "cud's" are fairly scarce in the first place, and even more so - on the reverse. cool find.

Hey monika,

Nice find. Was this in change, purchase or roll searching?

Monika...No problem...I didn't know there was an indent either until I found my Cud and someone from this forum told me. The indent is there because the metal from the planchet moves in the to area where the die was broken off and fills it leaving an indent where the metal moved to fill the gap.
