I have managed to put together a somewhat fair collection of modern commerative coins and I would like to somehow put them into an album where I can see them without having to take them out of their respective boxes all the time.
I'm still planning on keeping the boxes they came in and COA's but just want to see them at a glance.
Is there an album out there that I can somewhat display them (in their airtights)?
I also have the same problem with my Canadian mint Christmas coins, and is there something I can do for them in the same vein?

These albums work great. Some where on here is a photo of mine holding ASE's, if I can find it and link to it here.

Dansco also makes albums for classic commems and modern commems ones. Half dollars, dollar, date set, full set ect. You wont be able to keep them in the airtight but you can get their protective slips for the album that are supposed to do the same thing.

That above eagle page looks like the ticket. I will try that next.
Unfortunately airtite albums don't accomodate OGP AT sizes, so you would also have to buy standard ATs and swap the coins out. Thus, you'd have to leave the OGP AT in the box. Don't like that.

I do like the looks of the eagle commerative coin albums. As usual though in a perfect solution comes problems. The album seems to be preprinted with both Proof and Uncirculated slots for particular issues. Since my collecting has been totally random, I would probably have lot of empty spaces.
However, it does seem that they have blank pages that are more probablye best suited for me. I think that I'll give them a call to see what I can get. I have about maybe 25 commerative that I would want to display. They do seem to a bit pricey but we'll see what they have to fully offer.
Right now, I'm guessing that all modern commeratives are the same size when placed into airtights? Any guesses?

Theyre not all the same size, but all the dollars are the same size as as all the half dollars.

My dream would be a dansco album that will feature a type set of US commemorative dollars that are in the protection of the plastic housing in album form not just a three ring binder as other posts have shown. A set for my proof ASE's also is sought.

Quote: The album seems to be preprinted with both Proof and Uncirculated slots for particular issues. The only thing pre-printed on the Eagle album is a page that slips into a pocket on the inside front cover; it can be easily removed. You could always replace it with a page that you print up that is specific to your collection. Quote: My dream would be a dansco album that will feature a type set of US commemorative dollars that are in the protection of the plastic housing... Not sure this would be practical. The pages would have to be so thick to hold the encapsulated coins that it's likely only two pages would fit into Dansco's typical album - you wouldn't be able to store many coins together in an album. Such thick pages would also be difficult to turn inside a post-type album.

Another option is to store your coins in trays/boxes such as this: http://www.lighthouse.us/epages/lig...2272/US_2273I believe these trays would accomplish much of what you are looking for in a very attractive format. I use the MBCAPS38 Coin box to store my modern commemoratives. Here's a (bad) photo to give you an idea:

If you want to keep them in the air tites I would use the trays. Muddler for what its worth I havent had any problems with danscos not protecting coins especially if you use their slip case as well if your dream album would be a Dansco like you mentioned mentioned.
