Hello, Found this coin in a roll today. I think it might be a variety coin, still eyeballing it to make sure Think on a good day it could make a (AU)? Just learning the grading part Thank's IMG]http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/...an0022-1.jpg[/IMG]
Moonshine. I see a lot of fine lines on both sides of this coin, running in the same direction. Has it been cleaned? Also, maybe the beginning of verdigre near the "O" in ONE. I'm no expert in grading, but I would go EF-40.
It is red enough that I would think that it would have to be AU, much more handling than that and it would be more brown. As to the lines in the obverse fields, those look like heavy die polishing lines.
Hi all, Thank's for the reply's, My scan's don't even look like the same coin. The coin in hand has very nice luster and smooth red color that swirl's around the coin when the light hit's it, so to me it doesn't look cleaned. There are small lines all over the coin especially around and inside the number's and letter's. With all the info; I've got from all of you and especially coppercoin's website, I have to my best knowledge found this coin to be a very nice 1DO-001
