Metalman Pillar of the Community United States 7123 Posts	Posted 04/07/2007 12:46 pm Hi yavaris It sometimes takes a little time for folks to respond . not only does mint cello not prevent scratches it actually causes them !! The coin can and does slide around inside the mint set ,, that is one of the reasons why I do not leave my coins in mint packaging . This nickel grades at MS-62 in my opinion, but the damage is from bumping against the other set of coins in the envelope,, Metalman Report this Post to the Staff

Keeping the coin in the mint cellophane is like keeping it in a bag of rocks (OK I'm exaggerating a little). Over time it will decrease the grade, thus changing the value of the coin.
