For the cost of a stamp, I can definitively tell you the composition of your coin (non-destructive analysis). The caveat is, the analytical results are made public, via a formal publication. Send me a PM, and any number of veteran folks here (including some of the administrators) can vouch for me. If you want to check it take a piece of glass and make a very small scratch on the edge...Glass will not change the color...If its brass it will be a shiny yellow...If its red its copper or bronze....
