I've been collecting coins for over 50 years. Never had any graded. I need to know the best company to grade what I believe to be the following coins:

1. 1936 Nickel: FS 801(18.8)
2. 1982 Zinc Penny: DDO & DDR
3. 1983 Penny: DDO & DDR
4. 1988 Penny: REV. '89
5. 1992 Penny: Close "AM"
6. 1946S Penny: Inverted "S"
7. 1972S Penny: DDO & DDR
8. 1942S Dime: Inverted "S"
9. 1972D Quarter: DDO & DDR - FS - 102
10. 1977D Half: 40% Silver - Only 2 known
11. 1922 Peace dollar: High Relief
12. 1923 Dollar: 1923/2
13. 1921D Dollar: DDO & DDR
14. 1977D Ike dollar: 40% Silver

Thanks for any info.

While I'm certainly not doubting your attribution skills, we have many experts here on this forum. I would suggest first verifying that you have what you think you have. Of course it goes without saying that good pictures are a must for any doubled die.

Having said that, if you could post some photos, folks here are sure to reply with answers and then ultimately help to your question of where to grade. As a general rule of thumb, you will want to stick with the big 3 grading companies: PCGS, NGC, and ANACS. PCGS still brings the most resale money, but some types of coins are better in certain holders.

Oh, and welcome to the forum. I took the liberty of moving this to the grading section since it is probably a bit more relevant.

I'll address a couple which are familiar to me:

1) The 1922 is almost certainly not a High Relief. There is only one business strike known, and the rest are all Matte Proofs. You can tell by the obverse ray touching the right of the E in LIBERTY; it barely reaches the bottom of the E on the High Relief strikes. Images would be nice.

2) Doubling is very common with 1921 Morgans. Unless the coin reaches or exceeds MS65, it's not likely worth being graded.

3) A true 1923/2 Peace overdate is not known to exist. Images would be nice here, too.

We would be very happy to help, but images are imperative.
