Here's today's last purchase. Give me your thoughts and what you feel I should have paid for it. Once the experts give me an idea I'll let you know the purchase price on these.

Krannon, Thessaly, Greece, 400 - 350 B.C.
sellers description: Bronze dichalkon, Rogers 182; BCD Thessaly 1081.1 var (A right above legs); BMC Thessaly p. 17, 7 var (same); SNG Cop 39 - 40 var (same); SGCV 2075, aVF, 5.373g, 17.6mm, 225o, Krannon mint, obverse laureate head of Poseidon right; reverse "KR/[A]", horseman galloping right, wearing petasos and chlamys, trident below
Krannon,-Thessaly,-Greece,-400---350-B.c.

I bought the coin above but also considered this one. It was $5 more but I didn't care for the weakness in the center reverse.

Dropped $50 on this one so guess it was a reasonable price. Thanks for the input.

I would agree with Bing- I think you bought the better of two. Kudos man. I like your style you dont go for old your go for ancient I see your coins are like 400 bc'ers thats kool all in itself. I urge you to look more at this century you see some really wild coins struck in fine style. ...many for a fine price.

The more I look into ancients, the more I am drawn to the older coins, B.C.ish. Those in the late Roman Empire now seem new to me. Medieval coins seem like yesterday. This stuff is very addictive!
