With the ring for really nice ASEs and other nice world bullion.. Direct fit for the better generic bullion.

Ringed for everything to protect the reeded edges. But with that said I use 2x2 snaplocks instead of airtights for two reasons. First off, I don't have many coins that are worthy that aren't already in airtights. Secondly, I'm just cheap!

Can the plastic ring harm the coin over time?

They say the rubber ring cant hurt but I prefer to go without it. Air-tites is the way to go but they are tough to get open sometimes.

My opinion only

I heard the rings are made of an inert material so it won't harm the coins.

I personally love the look of the black Ring air-tites. The Black vs silver contrast for silver coins is great!
