1949-S Franklin Half - Double Die Reverse?

ndwlegal Valued Member United States 160 Posts	Posted 12/27/2012 1:45 pm I purchased a 1949-S Franklin this week. I don't have it in hand just yet, but one of the reasons I bought it was what appears to be a DDR. If you look at "E Pluribus Unum" there appears to be some serious doubling. I don't have the cherrypicker's guide, but is there a standard variation of this type for the 49-s or am I just dreaming that I see something? Also any chance this gets a FBL designation? mds308 Pillar of the Community United States 1721 Posts	Posted 12/27/2012 7:14 pm Judging by your photo's there appears to be Machine Doubling on the reverse in the word DOLLAR. I've had lots of these. Unless I'm mistaken, it's MD and not DDR. Report this Post to the Staff
