This is a new 4.7 oz. silver medallion I paid 185 for it and could have purchased another one of those great Silvertowne 5 oz. bars for 182. A few bucks less and about a half oz. more silver....

But these are HARD to find as I have tracked for years and never had a bid hold out and win. I took chance on low feedback seller (3 lol), but often this works out for me. This is the key piece as well perhaps of this series being the first lunar landing and first walk piece....

I also like these same coins in the mid 4 and half oz. size with the Civil war theme. I feel you cant ever go wrong adding these as their value and interest should hold for eons via the subject matter, silver, and history....

And lastly the raised style is a true 3 dimensional feel verses most 2 dimensional pieces....

Heads up, APMEX has some of these in their unique silver rounds section, in case the ones you bought on ebay weren't from the APMEX ebay store . . .

http://www.apmex.com/Category/258/U..._Rounds.aspx

sort by Price: High to Low and you'll see several of them, including one similar to your posting.

Hey thanks I did not realize APMEX had these and section with out of production items, their stock is nice compared to most. After shipping cost from APMEX I would be in it close to 200 however, so better deal though ebay (185 FREE ship) and even if it never shows up I will get my money back via ebay protection....

Plus the one they have is Apollo 14, not 11 so it would not have a bit less premium....

Neighboring state as well and usually those buys are here in a two or three days....

So I WAS NOT able to pay for Apollo 11 as dealer is NOT connected to pay-pal. Tried twice and it said "payment refused" or something in pay-pal details....

I asked seller about it, said he had issues trying to connect to pay-pal.....

Tonight emails and asks...."You gonna pay for this coin or not?" And before I could get home and respond he leaves me a NEGATIVE through the positive feedback lol....

By saying...."Never paid"

I replied well perhaps you could connect your account Einstein lol. I swear some peoples audacity is amazing. I'm glad it happened as he had a bad neg I missed for misrepresenting and item and then after buyer sent back he did NOT refund their money. Dodged a redtape bullet perhaps....

Glad his stupidity shined bright before he connected and I actually paid, lol....

Maybe he was waiting for me to send an email saying the money order was in transit his way rof....
