Hi every one I have a gold coin what has been stored for 50+ years before it was stored the coin got put into custom ring with mounts I have got the ring out of storage 2 days ago and I have took the coin out very carefully and touch wood no marks at all it has a really nice lust to it but it has been stored for long time I would like to no any information at all about it I don't no much about coins at all so I hope some one can help me I would also like to get this coin graded is there any one in the uk united kingdom who can do it thanks best regards scott

thanks how do I look after it I was thinking about putting it bac in the ring what would you recomend I'm all new to this so any advice appreciated

First of all the ring mounting has probably damaged the coin where the contact points touched. The mounting will have been fatigued by opening it up so have a jeweler look at it.It will make a nice ring.

it was nice as ring I have been really lucky with the mounts I have gone around it with good eye glass and no marks at all I lifted the mounts with my finger I love the coin its small about 14mm I think but would you say it is worth getting it graded it would be nice coin to pass down to my son are they really common and is it worth getting it slabbed because thats not cheap and I can not find any one in the uk thanks
