As vermontesium can attest to (I have bugged him a few times in PMs, and many thanks dude, have appreciated the help) I have been lusting after a 1785 Nova Constellatio copper for a while now. I have made offers on a couple (got turned down) and found one I was eying. I had actually forgot about it with our move and then my father dying.

So today I am enjoying watching the kids open their gifts (they are 17, 17 and 14. Not the same as 7 year olds opening presents, but great none the less) and I open one of mine. It's a padded envelope that VACookey had received last week but I didn't think twice about it. So I rip off the paper, open the envelope and this is what I pulled out...

An awesome gift from my kids (through my wife).

I had to make a whole new screen name on ebay to make sure he didn't know I was getting it. I was afraid the guy wouldn't sell to me since it was my first purchase. I explained the deal to him and it all worked out.
