Looks like a good bunch, but you gotta bet that they've been gone through with a fine tooth comb probably more than once. Still, some look like coins I would like in my collection.

So far the bidding comes out to about $12 a piece, even if they go up to $20 each. They still would be a good buy. Wish I had that much to spend.

Seriously folks! At $20 a coin average, I see perhaps 3 or 4 that I'd buy for $20. I also see a sale with private listings from an Eastern European country (not a reassuring situation). I hope none of you won it. If you did, I hope it arrives surviving the post office and customs (not a given). If it does arrive, I hope you will find the coins pleasing. For $1000 you could buy 10-20 really nice denarii that you select individually (seeing both sides) from a source that is most likely actually going to deliver coins and offer some guarantee that you will be pleased.

As Doug says, we could only see one side of the Denarii. Regardless of the country the coins are sold from, it is not good idea to buy 1 coin you only see one side off. To buy 51 at $20 each!
The sellers other listings are advertised the same way. The Provincials seem interesting but on closer view, are very worn, as are the rest of the coins he has listed. With respect, large AE's remained in circulation for at least 100 years after their issue, hence the wear.
For the collector, they ought to spend their money on better examples though.
