Bad girl! I became totally smitten with the serial number of the top one (35566277) and took the plunge.

I did not pay a lot but am curious as to what you think of grade and what you would expect to pay. Thanks!

They are nice If it was me I wouldn't pay more than $2 each. What did you pay?

Let's just say I over paid...not drastically but enough. It was the top sn that got me.

What do you think on grade? I know they are not great but I would appreciate any input on grade. Thanks!

I just checked the latest retail values for your notes, 1935E Star notes, Very Good = $4.00 and $5.00 in Fine.

I think the top note in the pics is an easy FINE grade...The bottom note may fall into VG depending on the rips on the bottom and center of the middle fold,,,but it may be a low end fine also

Is the 6 in the top serial number a "gas pump" digit? Or is it just the angle of the picture.

Looked up gas pump digit - pretty cool. I don't have them in hand yet but will check. My suspicion is it is not the 25% necessary to be called misaligned. I will post with updated pictures when it arrives.

Im jot sure what you mean by gas pump digit but it does appear to be quite off to me as well.

It is a nick name for digits that basically do not line up. I found a good link here, http://www.panix.com/~clay/currency/glossary.html scroll down to Rolled Digit
