What's the value of this bill? The number is printed over the signature and also DC.

Wow that looks very legit to me it's called a misaligned overprint also known as a shift and my book has it listed at $2500 in F12 and $4500 in EF40 looks like a great note aside from being circulated and folded. Congrats. Very nice note.

What book are you using?

I think it would be more educational to search some of the completed ebay listings to see what those type of notes actually sold for.

More realistic values are F $50, EF $100 and CU $250. This exact error is pictured in Bart's error book 3rd edition on p178. The note in post #1 is a misaligned overprint error.

I have never seen them go the money quoted "at $2500 in F12 and $4500 in EF40"? for this error. It is not a faulty alignment error IMO based upon comparing the two.

I am using the "the paper money of the United States" which I guess that part of the book is wrong
