I found this as I was going throw my change and noticed there was no copper showing on the edge of the coin so I weighed the coin. It weighed 5.9 grams instead of 5.67 it should. Any thoughts on this quarter?

I have know idea but do not use the clamps/tweezers ever again you will be amazed at how easy your coins will get scratched

, if you look between the reeds, you can see a feint line where the copper is. Plus the hair looks not as "spaghetti-ish" or well defined as it should be.

It looks like a cast fake to me, with all those little bumps or pits.

The reeding looks too shallow to be a genuine coin--or it's just filed down.

Put a small drop of platinum test chemical
on the reeding. Or lightly scratch it on your stone first.
If a no go on platinum try silver chem.
