I bought this coin in lot of foreign about 10 years ago. It's IDed on the envelope as Antiochus I 280-261 B.C.. Can anyone give me any more information than that?
Size is about .60 inches dia and it appaers to be brass or bronze.

I'd say Seleucid (of which Antiochus I was a ruler) and bronze...

Look up the Seleucid Kingdom for more information on the ruler and the kingdom that issued this coin.

I'm not a 100%, but I believe it might be:

SC 351 Antiochos I AE 15. Head of Antiochus right / Rx: Apollo seated left on omphalos, control in left field.http://www.wildwinds.com/coins/gree...I/SC_351.jpg

Just so you know, coins are not usually measured by inches. By millimeters. When I first started collecting, I got a cheap but decent quality digital caliper from ebay. I suggest that you get one as well. It's up to you, of course. I also have a digital scale for weighing coins.

That's a nice coin!

Metric calipers now on my list of things to get.
Bing, that SC351 looks real close to what I have. Some differences on the reverse but I think that might be it.
Windchild I am headed to google to see what I can find out about Seleucid Kingdom. Been spending a lot of time lately re learning all my high school ancient history lessons.
When I bought this coin in the foreign lot, I allowed $5 for this piece.
