I would like to see your stash. I just started last month taking copper pennies and saving them just for the copper value. I average around ten coins a roll and I've seem many 25 dollar boxes. This is just a start many more to come.

I can't find any buyers so I stopped hoarding them. Still have about 100 lbs if anyone's interested...

((I can't find any buyers so I stopped hoarding them.)) I would still save them because copper is only going up and eventually there will be buyers.

last time I sorted my change I picked out the copper and ended up with 1 bag like in your pic. I save what I come across but that's it.

I hand-sorted many many boxes last year and probably have 100+ lbs. Not sure what I'll do with 'em or whether it was worth the time.

I'm saving them and cherry picking the best ones for my Lincoln collection. I've been finding several beauties lately, AU/MS condition and some even with some sweet toning.

I bought a machine to sort the copper from the zinc. I figured that anytime I could take a box of pennies and make a profit would be a good thing. But what's really happened is I think I have found a hobby I can enjoy with my 10 year old son for years to come. what started with pennies has now ballooned to all US coins we can get our hands on. Only problems is, not really a problem I guess, a chunk of my free money is tied up in coin until I get a chance to stand and feed the coinstar at the credit union for an hour or two or.......

im hoarding them. I've got 90 rolls of 55 pennies(i was short on rolls the first time so I put in 55 in each roll and just stuck with it, it also works perfect with my storage area.) I've got 2 boxes to search right now so id estimate ill end up with around 110-115 rolls when done. I try to do at least 2 boxes each week.

I have been at this for about 30 days, filling the heavy deposit bags the banks give me when I buy a bunch of CWR's so I can carry the coins out, a bag holds about half a 5 gallon bucket of pennies, I set the bag in place and fill till I can't get anymore in and I seal it up, no real idea how much is in there but I have 4.5 bags and still sorting, I have 2/3 of a penny box the rolls come in, in wheats and coins I've pulled, I set them in there easy and don't move the box around as some they really need to be put in flips or a book.
