I'm not sure this is an ancient coin, but could use some help with id if possible.

Looks like a rams head on the reverse.

I thought I saw one similar posted here a while back but could not find that post.

Not sure if it's ancient, but it is an interesting coin non the less. IMO it looks medieval possibably Spain.

There was a Greek rams head reverse coin posted by x6, but this is not the same. I think it looks more Spanish and medieval.

It's a Tornese of Naples, date not visible but 1630-1638.

I thought it might be from around this time period, but so far I was looking in the Renaissance, a century earlier.

I think it may have been clipped at some time for some reason.
