I was wondering if anyone may be able to help me identify my coin. I have had it for years and I believe it to be a Chinese cash coin, however, I am not sure. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Not a Chinese cash coin but, I believe, one from Annam (Vietnam). The coin, a Tong Bao, would have been cast by Emperor Nguyen Thanh Thai under the reign title Thanh Thai between 1889-1906.

Thank you very much for your help aiglet7. I take it that there is really no collectable value to it? Also would you be able to tell me anything about the coin pictured below as well (I have no image of reverse) Thank you again very much for your help

The 2nd coin has the appearance of a Qing Dynasty (Imperial China) qian long tong bao.Emperor Gao Zong ruled under the reign title Qian Long from 1736 to 1795. The reverse should have two marks identifying the mint. The diameter should be 26 mm and the weight approx. 5.3 grams.
Both the coin from Annam and this one are quite common.
