Here is a 1998 off center flipover double strike cent. With the counting machine damage it's nothing special, just thought I would share it with you.

That. Is. Marvelous.
Fantastic example. I love those "fancy" errors.

Thanks for the above comment John. Truth be told (not bragging), when my numismatic interest in the late 1990's turned from Obsolete & Broken Bank Currency to errors, I sold the Currency as one lot and delved into the USA error market purchasing what I could in larger lots on ebay. When ebay was expanding, United States error coin prices were reaching new highs. By then I had built up a decent inventory and was sharing a spot with another dealer at the New York (Westchester & Albany) and Northen New Jersey Coin Shows. Around 2001 my focus turned into world errors when ebay had global sites and purchased thousands of India errors alone, along with European and South America errors. Long story short, 2006 was the year everything went south with ebay and ending the coin show circuit. I must have well over a thousand error and variety coins left from that era and moved it from inventory to holding them for my granddaughters education. If you are on facebook, I set up a account with some of the USA errors and ALL the World errors posted in photo albums seperated by Country of origin. I did this for my granddaughter to study as she will be the one to sell when the time comes (she is 7 now). I'm not sure if it's allowed to post facebook links here, but if you want to view what's posted, email me for the link & I will friend you. Thanks

I was thinking of doing that a few months ago, just not sure if it's allowed to post facebook links here. Most of the f/book photos were uploaded directly from my laptop and photobucket only has about 200 photos.
Facebook is easy to join and I am one of the very few that only has a few family members as friends as I am somewhat a private person. If you decide to join f/b, search for "errorcoins4sale" as this is really my granddaughters account for the future.

I see no reason to disallow a Facebook link at CCF. Not from our standpoint, anyways. But....
Do you really want to announce to the entire world that you have a substantial holding of some potentially-valuable coins? Facebook is the constant target of the most sophisticated dataminers and identity thieves on Earth - although I'm a member, I won't even allow them to know my real birthday, and I've never mentioned coins there nor will I ever.

@SsuperDdave,
I just realized that I posted the first part of the email address above associated with the f/b account instead of the f/b user account name. I have not publicized it as it's not time to sell, and needed a place on the Internet that allowed me to post both photos (over 1400 photos in total) and descriptions to help educate both my daughter & granddaughter as pawn shops and small time dealers will not know most of the values and rarities, one example being two Series 1988A 3rd print on reverse error notes, one printed at Fort Worth on the sheet fed press and the other in D.C. on the Web-Fed experimental press, let alone the coin used as my Avatar, a 2003D die struck quad strike (no second planchet involved) that to my knowledge is the only one known.
I may just continue uploading photos to photobucket a few at a time (as I had in the recent posts) and share with other forum members.

I have 1427 images uploaded to my CCF Gallery, most high-res. The Gallery is free for a member of your seniority. Just sayin'.

@SsuperDdave
Is there a link to guide me through uploading photos to the Gallery.
I take baby steps as I try and navigate through this digital world.
I also take high resolution photos in the 3 to 7 mb per photo range, look forward to park many of them here.
And finally, since this is a family friendly site, what is the minimum age for membership.
Many Thanks

When you hit 50 posts you should have received an email telling you about the gallery and how to request yours (it's a separate login from the forums). I'll put in a request for you, but Dad's on his way to the FUN show right now so it may be a week or more before he can create one for you. Hang tight
