I hope he uses his proceeds to brush up on his English. I definately would have passed on this one because of the pictures and English!

A 96.6 rating speaks for itself. After having my rear end rearranged enough to look like hamburger buying from guys with these types of ratings, I have learned my lesson. You were right following your instincts.

Way too much downside, not enough upside to run the risk. No way would I even give a second thought to bidding on this set.

Three key things that identify this set as reproductions-

1)"A Tribute to America's Most Beautiful Coins" is one the inside of the lid. Tribute always means reproduction or copy.

2)Notice that all of the "coins" are the same size even though the denominations range from $1 to double eagle.

3)No one in their right mind would sell a Stella ($4) on Ebay- that is a $100,000+ coin.

I don't take any chances on anything that says "Tribute" to anything because they are usually juts that a tribute coin that is silver or something with a few mil's of gold over that

Nope. The 96.6 percent feedback is enough to scare me away without even looking at the coins.

Feel sorry for the person who bought it. Education is the key. Must be nice to have that much money to throw around in the first place.

I'd wonder if the seller has the ability to copy my address correctly.
He seems incapable of copying the names of the coins without spelling errors. The package may never arrive with that many errors.

With ebay: If in doubt...don't.
