Here are a couple of Latvian 2 LATI pieces. I think the classic beauty in the workmanship on these and similar national coinage is art at it's best.

Yes, very nice - and actually the same obverse as the current 1 lats and 2 lati coins.

A very nice design is also the 5 lati coin with the Latvian maiden (late 1920s, early 30s). But quite a few newer ones are neat too, be it the Times and Values commem series or the 1 lats coin with the big ant.
