Another Uneducated Seller

I think that whole current tsunami of fairly new TV shows (starting years ago with Antiques Roadshow, but more recently with the Storage Unit
Auction Scavengers, Pawn Stars, the Deep South Extreme Pawn one, the Auction Kings, the Traveling Pickers, the Cash Cowboys, etc,etc
ad nauseum) have helped make every jerk in the country who's sitting on top of a pile of junk believe he's the king of the world and sitting on
top of a pile of classics that should be auctioned off at Sotheby's. Those shows have done more to kill good deals at flea markets, garage
sales, etc than everything else in the last 30 years. The frequently ridiculous listings on CL, ebay and elsewhere reflect this. Oh, well...
