I recently bought a PCGS MS63 1927 25 Cent. I keep my collection in ICCS holders, so I'm planning on submitting it to ICCS. I was wondering if anyone knows whether ICCS would be willing to put it in a ICCS holder if they believe it's a 63 (or higher), or just cross grade it if they believe it is a 62 or lower.
I'm kind of interested in that too. Can you send a hard case to ICCS with instructions to leave the coin in the case if the grade is lower? Will ICCS remove a coin from a hard case? Their instructions sort of suggest possibly, but with additional handling fees. I have some CCCS/ICCS crossgrades and would like them in ICCS flips (Too much recent shopping at Colonial Acres :). Have had ICCS downgrades of every PCGS coin submitted, I just avoid buying PCGS altogether.
Glenn...I think we entered responses close together :). Whose question were you answering? Will they remove coins from hard cases to put into ICCS flips?
Hi, I was answering jg86's. They'll remove coins from any other T.P.G. or even add their certificate as a cross grade if you so wish, however, there is a nominal fee for both.
