Kiangsu-10-Cash-Cud/Rotated
This is KM-78.1, Kiangsu 10 cash plain edge piece. It is a double error. The obverse has a very pronounced Cud at the rim from 9 o'clock to 7 o'clock obliterating the T and most of the E in TEN. The reverse is rotated 90 degrees.

The coin was actually produced at the mint in Qingjiang (.江) and not Jiangsu ("Kiangsu" 江苏).

Krause uses an old romaninzation system so I am not sure how it will spell "Qingjiang" ("Tsing-Kiang"; maybe Ch'ingchiang?).

I do not have any of the Krause publications so I am unable to provide the correct KM number.

I have all the Krause SCWCs. The province is listed as KIANGSU-CHINGKIANG. SCWC pictures several coins with the legend TSING-KIANG. No mints are listed on the coins in this section. The SCWC map shows KIANGSU and CHEKIANG provinces next to each other on the east coast. The SCWC lists coins for CHEKIANG separately (also references as Zhejiang).
