Hello, does anyone know a good camera for taking photo's of coins? I got some coins I really need help on finding what type they are but I don't own a digital camera. So I been checking out some on Wal-Marts website and wasn't sure if they are good or not. I got like 300 dollars to spend on one but I don't want to buy junk. I seen my brothers batteries in less than 10 minutes. I would like one that could be recharged but is that good to have?

The only other thing that I was thinking was to buy a 1/10 of American Platinum eagle. Or get some American Silver eagles.

If you look at some recent threads there are several people who are getting good results with Canon Powershot series cameras. If you're willing to save up a bit longer and bargain hunt, you might be able to swing a used DSLR, bellows and duplication lens, which is the best setup for coin photography.
