On the fence between VF30 - EF40. Could be an old polish job but let me know what you think. I'd rather be conservative. Thanks!

Those rims are sharp, and the lustre looks to be mostly there in all areas. Looks almost like a weakly struck AU... this series is very prone to weakly struck obverses, and almost impossible to grade without the coin in hand.

I took another photo to eliminate the glare. It was hiding the wear in Vicky's hair. I'm comfortable with an EF40 with coin in hand.

Weakly struck AU sounds right. Excellent lustre on that one. Far more than you'd see on a coin worn down to an EF grade.

Thanks gents, I'm pleasantly surprised. My father was generous enough to give me all his maritime coins and this was the nicest piece.
