I was watching an auction last week for a coin I needed for my 7070 and was poised to strike at the end. Or so I thought....

I haven't bought much on there but when I did, just clicked on paypal and entered my credit card #. easy peasy.

Because I didn't make a "test " bid of a dollar or so I wasn't prepared for what happened next.

Waited until 45 seconds or so and hit the bid button. Uh oh, up popped a message from the seller that because my paypal account wasn't linked to my ebay account, I wasn't allowed to place a bid. I have a paypal account but didn't have enough time to link. Felt like a real dufus LOL.

The real sad part is, I was prepared to bid a lot higher than the winning bid. Hope someone here got it.

Look on the upside, you will probably be able to find another one that you really like in the future. You may even like it better! Patience is the winner in collecting.

Yep Kelly

I have looked since and can't find one equal for the price. I have been thinking of stepping down a notch or going up a grade, but maybe I will just be patient.
