Ebay...bonehead Mistake I Made - Coin Community Forum

Ron_CA Valued Member United States 207 Posts	Posted 01/12/2013 10:04 am I was watching an auction last week for a coin I needed for my 7070 and was poised to strike at the end. Or so I thought.... I haven't bought much on there but when I did, just clicked on paypal and entered my credit card #. easy peasy. Because I didn't make a "test " bid of a dollar or so I wasn't prepared for what happened next. Waited until 45 seconds or so and hit the bid button. Uh oh, up popped a message from the seller that because my paypal account wasn't linked to my ebay account, I wasn't allowed to place a bid. I have a paypal account but didn't have enough time to link. Felt like a real dufus LOL. The real sad part is, I was prepared to bid a lot higher than the winning bid. Hope someone here got it.
