Evening;
Another discovery, I remember this as a wee lad.

Can anyone tell me what this is, I thought it might be a blank coin but there is some weight in it.

The large one weights 23g and is 26mm dia; The small one 11g and 19mm dia.

If it is, indeed a blank coin, can anyone tell what it is?!

The £1 coin is for scale

Does this look like a planchet to anyone? I have tried to find images similar but to no avail

Apologies for bumping this up, but has anyone even the slightest idea what this might be?

I don't believe this is a blank or a planchet. Almost looks like an electrical contact point, maybe for a fuse.

Coin blanks are punched out of a sheet of metal, like a hole-punch punches holes in paper. They are always round metal discs, with no sprues or odd corners still attached.

Whatever these things are, they aren't numismatic. Agree they are probably electrical.

ah, thank you. I always assumed these were, since they were always kept with my collection.
