I was able to get an excellent buy on this CARION ISLANDS RHODES Hemidrachm. The dealer has it attributed as Sear 5065v, but I'm not so certain of this attribution. Any insights or corrections will be greatly appreciated. OBV: Radiate head of Helios 3/4 facing REV: Rose with magistrates name above, caduceus left all within uncuse square 1.6g; 12mm I do not see the caduceus and I cannot read the magistrates name. Help please.  |

Anoob, do you know if the attribution is correct? It seems to me that there is something other than the caduceus to the left.
It's funny what everyone thinks is the best of the the three coins. I guess we all have our preferences.

Usually on each side of the "rose" is a branch of the stalk with one or two monograms. I will def. take a closer look on my cpu screen , currently I am on my iphone.

Bing- A couple of things, I do not see the Caduceus left. I see a "P". The magistrates name I believe reads DEXIKPTHS. All variations I can find have a large easily visible caduceus. I think yours only reads "p" in the left field. Now on to the right field, this could be a stalk of the Rose. With the Letter "o" similar to ...
