What do you consider the details of this IHC? I think they may be between VF and XF.

Hard to judge from your photos but I'm guessing at least XF details.

Hard to see the details...how many diamonds are visible on the ribbon from the head dress?

Although though the coin pictured is very dark, I THINK I can see at least partial diamonds. Whatever the details of the coinhowever, the corrosion is going to drop whatever prospective grade way down.

Vermontensium, glad to see you're back. Hope the trip to FUN wasn't too tiring. It was a pleasure meeting you on Thursday and am glad to be able to put a face to the name.

Yes, there is a partial diamonds and a bold liberty. I am not sure if it is dark because I treated it with Verdicare and still needs to dry or maybe that is just the color. There is corrision so it is a "details" coin. I read on some reference that the difference between the VF and XF grade is the seperation between the tassle and lower curl, whatever that means. It looks like that curl starting above the ear and goes through the tassle. Is it the amount of diamonds? There are some present.

Is the difference between the XF and VF grades apparent on these coins?

Too dark to really tell. Go to PCGS Photograde online and look at the different grades for the IHC. This website will really help you to determine the coin's grade...
