I have always had an Interest in the History of Rome, specifically the Imperiatorial Period and the Punic War Period. Along with this, I am interested with the history of Alexander the Great.

This interest was the reason I decided to collect Ancient coins.

Macedon, Alexander III, The Great!

Funny. I just picked up a similar coin for about the same price. Mine was $19.50 shipping included. What is the size of your coin?

OBV: Gorgoneion in the center of a Macedonian shield
REV: Macedonian helmet; caduceus and NK monogram flanking below (Struck under Nikokreon)

Thanks for the compliments, but I'm always looking so I'm bound to find something once in a while. "Even a blind squirrel finds an acorn once in a while".

Ive got one of those! I have two of those, in fact. Both from a greek uncleaned lot (costed £20 - got a few good ones out), but only one is in any sort of shape as to display it. Much nicer details on yours, good pickup.

This coin appeals to me in numerous ways, first it is the price, second level of detail, third condition which I think is more than acceptable, number four , everyone loves a great hat.

I got the coins today! (extremely fast shipping... two days!)

This one worries me... it may have bronze disease....

The patch of light green on the shield's rim in the top-left is scaring me...
Help?

Other than that, I love it!

I don't see bd either but if you are concerned soak it in some distilled water for while. BTW I like the caduceus under the helmut!
