I have looked at coins of the Ostrogoths and Vandals before but I have never bought any. Very cool

these are also very cool. saw a couple vandal coins on vcoins the other day, but that were in pretty bad shape and pretty high in price.

That seems to be a reoccurring theme on these "post Roman" coins. They are small, hard to find and certainly expensive. In this case I think I lucked out.

Coin # 1 looks like that $500 Galla Placidia or maybe I am seeing things. In the cross and wreath section of the link that Vk posted in my other thread...hum...one can dream right?
