Hi, I know the weight for this coin should be 11.34 grams and tolerance for this coin is +/-.4 grams but wanted to know if this could be an error. The coin doesn't show a lot of wear. Here are pics. Thanks.

Seems to be in the normal weight range.

Throw a newer nickel on your scale and make sure it shows 5 grams. If not, you may need to calibrate the scale.

I went and bought batteries for an old scale I have. It shows as 10.9grams. Here is a pic.

I see 95-2012 that weigh less than 11.0 grams sometimes and I too wondered at first if I should keep them. Most of those years weigh 11.2g and sometimes I have even seen 11.3g. I think its just a little on the light side.
