Hey guys, I picked this up over the weekend, traded an atrociously graded 1881-O Morgan in a PCI slab and a little cash for this one.

I'd call this MS63 and I'm not sure but it looks like it could be a VAM11. Tough call from the image posted.

Attributing this - 1880-S is difficult - will require extreme closeups of date and mint mark to start with. There are almost 100 1880-S VAMs.

And Fenton got it. I think my images made the hits look more harsh than they really are....This one is also really really close to being PL....may have bumped it up a notch due to that.
