Picked ths one up from the LCS last year.

Definitely had a light cleaning at some point. Did I do okay for $50?

Why do you think it was cleaned? I can't tell based on the picture.

There are several small hairlines on the obverse that are visible under strong lighting. can't see them in the picture. It's not too detracting though.

Thanks for the grades everyone.

I believe the dealer had it marked as vf-20 in the store.

Now I need to save up for an Arrows/Rays half to go with it. It's a shame they only used that reverse for one year.

I agree with VF-30/35.. Beautiful quarter! I also agree that this is my favorite year also... I love the rays! I kinda wish they used the design other years but I also like the uniqueness...
I'm in the same boat on are... Only I'm looking for the quarter to go with my VF-30/35 half!! (You can see it in classic grading if you want.. It's a great match to your quarter.. Hopefully I find one just like yours!!) Lol.. I just lost out on a really nice one on the bay.. Could have gotten it but lost track of time and missed the end of the auction (I was hoping to jump in at the last second and snake it lol.)... But I forgot and was driving at the end of the auction..
