Theodora. AE4. 337-340 AD. Trier. OBV: FL MAX THEO-DORAE AVG, Bust right wearing plain mantle and necklace, hair elaborately dressed with a plait encircling her head. REV: PIETAS-ROMANA, Pietas standing facing, carrying an infant at her breast. Mintmark TRP or TRS. Depending on what the mintmark is, TRP or TRS, that could determine the RIC catalog ID. What do you guys think based on this image? RIC VIII Trier 79 covers both mintmarks. This coin again is a $9 coin, not the best but a ok slot filler for Theodora.

Looks like you are picking up many different rulers. I like the prices you are getting these at also.

Quote: I saw this coin somewhere, just can't remember where Same place as you purchased the Tacitus coin. There was a bunch of low cost fillers in there but two of them were purchased and I figured I better get the last ones I want before someone else does. I'm glad you got the Tacitus though. Not sure who snagged the Delmatius but I really wanted it.

Ahh ok I remember now. Yeah, I was looking for low cost fillers also lol, and I ended up getting Tacitus and Carinus. And my Tacitus turned out to be rated Rare, so that was a nice surprise there as well.

And I think found the Delmatius. Decent coin but personally I'd pay a little more for a better example.

There are a few floating around $19-$30 range right now. That Delmatius I'm talking about is now in the sold section, but yeah isn't the best example.

Thanks for the comments guys.
I think it is TRS also. The dealer thinks it's TRP. We shall see when it arrives.

It looks like it has a touch of BD on it and I'm going to soak it for awhile. I'm going to do some light cleaning as well and then seal it with Ren Wax.
