Think I found another variety. Low grade but it looks just like the photo in Cherrypicker's and like the photo inserted in the closeup below.

This is one of the ones that I actively look for. I haven't found it yet, but it certainly looks like you have. Congratulations!

Congratulation! You really are doing a great job going through all these.

I remember in one of your earlier posts you were not sure if you would stick with hoarding collecting after you finished with these coins.

Feel the same way now?
Rest in Peace

That's the one. Nice find. It's always nice to find RPMs on Mercuries. I don't check too many but did find this 1941 S/S residing in an album I've had for 30 years.

Wow, how many repunches are on that coin, numismo? Looks like 3 or more. I wanna find one tooooooo!

Kelly... uhm, yeah... deeeeep down the rabbit hole now. All equipmented-up, not really rushing to make a disposition. Already plotting how to use archival book boards, hole saws, and acetate sheets to make custom Dansco-esque display books, etc. And so much to study! So much to learn!

We will sell a great deal of them but I sure am attached to those Indians. And Mercuries. And Buffaloes. Mucho grande quantity though so there's plenty to sell and plenty to keep. The only coins I haven't felt much connection with (yet) are the Morgans. Probably because everyone and their mother seems to have MS71+++ of everything and ours are pretty homely. It's not as exciting to find a big honkin' silver coin that's 'only' worth 35 times face value... not when there are those nice Indians worth 20,000, 30,000, 40,000 x face. I love the way that sounds The Indians were the first ones I closely examined and it spoiled me for the rest-- set the bar too high.

The 1934 D/D is a lot harder to find than the 40 or 41 S/S or S/S/S dimes! Congrat with your finding.

I love looking for errors and varieties. This-is-fun.

Here is my recent Morgan purchase.
