Looking at the coin with a magnifying glass, I see a 1968. I believe it's a typo or the seller believes the 8 is a 3. After all, look at the item location.

I wonder if the person who created the listing was doing it by proxy for someone who just gave him the photograph? Hard to believe they'd misread the date on a coin in hand.

By the way, I have contacted the seller a few days before the auction have ended, and he replied he will check it out.

Yesterday, I've messaged him again, this time without answer.

Rest in Peace

There is an error in the listing. The Coin listed as 1963 should read 1968.

Last line of listing.

That's after my first message.
I guess that if we haven't seen it, so did most of the bidders.

It does mean though that the seller was honest (I wonder why he didn't reply to my later message)..

philadelphian,

I'm not sure how old you are but if I don't have my glasses the dates look blurry and can be misinterpreted. And if you're not a coin person, the 1963 could make sense. Or, the seller's just an idiot.

At least he corrected himself.

I feel pretty old, but I guess not old enough. I'm reading this, with my glasses off, about three inches from my face!

I stand corrected... Lol.. I didn't read the whole listing and on my phone couldn't tell it was a 1968... Although I had suspicions...
At least he edited the listing.. It's good to know he wasn't trying to get over on people and it was a mistake..
