This is sad. Going to a show and being followed after. Then to have this happen.
How devastating.

There is a traveling dealer that goes to the flea markets in this area. He sets up at 2 different local markets and does some in other cities. One night, when he got home, he decided to leave the coins in his van. His van was parked inside his fenced-in backyard. The van was cleaned out before the next morning. About 50K in coins was stolen. He thinks someone followed him home after the flea market and then went back later that night. He had everything in nice big display cases. All the crooks had to do was carry the cases to the waiting car/truck. This was about 3 years ago and he never got anything back.

That is sad, I've been there many times when I lived in north Georgia, he is a good man. He is my biggest influence to restarting the hobby. He has a small store in Ft. Oglethorpe on US 27 about a mile from the Chickamauga battlefield.

From the list that was taken, it may have been a store ending blow for him. However why did he or they leave a vehicle unguarded with that kind of value inside, especially in this economical climate? Besides I remember him having a carry conceal license valid in Georgia which is reciprocated in Florida, so why not park it in fron of a window and sit next to it? So many things here smell bad in so many ways.
