I've been posting images using the Free Image Optimizer because most of the image files stored on my Mac are larger. However, I have noticed that some people post images that are a lot larger than mine. How do they do that? How are some posted photos larger than others? What's the secret? Thanks in advance!

Probably a link to an outside image hosting service.

I upload photos to my "forum photos" folder on photobucket, then click on the photo link and paste it here with no problem.

The Free Image Optimizer can maintain image size while reducing file size.

You want to lower the Image Quality, but try to leave New Size at the current size.

No scanner please. You will get much better pics with a point-n-shoot set to macro or a usb microscope.
