Afternoon;
I am trying to find an example of this coin to get an idea of value, but I cannot seem to find one identical....

I have seen a couple of very similar examples, however the word 'GROSSUS' on my coin has a distinctly round form of the letter 'U', and all the other examples have a very pronounced 'V' shape.

Also, all the examples I have found have a 'G' mintmark, however I cannot make out the mintmark on this coin, although I would say it definately isn't a 'G'

Any thoughts or explanations are much appreciated,thanks

The mint mark is outside the outer circle at 2clock and 3 clock. I found a coin with similar design here

Thanks for posting that, although it only confirms my query..
The link you posted shows
1) a coin with a G mintmark, which mine doesn't have
2) The pronounced V shape of the 'U', which mine doesn't have

So basically, see original post!

Ah I forgot about the shape of the U. Found this which I think matches your mint mark which is identified as S or inverted 5 in the polish coin forums. Also it looks like there are multiple variations of this 1 Grossus including you and V

Excelent information, thanks, a great find.
It seems more like a graphic, but I see the version of my coin
