I don't see any obvious wear on this dollar. There is a slight flat spot above Liberty's ear that could be strike weakness or possibly it's the first sign of wear. There are few contact marks. I don't know if it's your scanner or what, but there is hardly any visible luster. I would expect vibrant flashy luster on an untoned, uncirculated 1887-S. If it's got good luster which the image just doesn't capture, then it could be MS-63. If the luster is impaired due to wear or perhaps over-dipping, then it might only grade AU.
The grade of course makes a big price difference! I would think you could get a nice AU 1887-S for less than $50. A PCGS or NGC certified MS-63 example should run close to $200.
