Please confirm and expand on my supposition if possible.

This is what I think
Denarius
Caracalla 198-217
Grade EF ish?
Value? I think I did good on this one but would like to know what the experts think before I reveal what I paid

It is Caracalla, nice coin. I'll leave the attribution to Bing.

I'm having some trouble with attributing this one if it is Caracalla. Since you have it in hand and your images are too bright for me to read, can you spell out the obverse and reverse legends?

Have lowered lighting a little and retaken pics.
The detail is amazing you can see facial features on the rev portrait

I think RSC139 RIC302 but I really know next to nothing about Ancients and I cant get good pics of silver at the best of times.

Right you are. RIC 302 it is. I'm uncertain of it's value, but if I were in the market for one, this one I might offer between $25-$35. I'm only basing that on what I've paid for Caracalla Denarii. Such as this one I paid $10 including shipping jus a little better than a year ago:

Yes, it is RIC 302, as in the numerous Wild Winds examples of that Denarius shown in the link I posted for you.
